Perspective-Correct a Photographed Document

Turn a phone photo of a paper document into a flat, readable scan. This is my document or one I am allowed to process. DOCUMENT What it is: [RECEIPT | FORM | SKETCH | CONTRACT PAGE] The camera problem: [ANGLE, SHADOW, CREASE] How it will be used: [ARCHIVE | OCR | PRINT] PLAN 1) Crop to the page and correct perspective so the edges are a rectangle. If the page is warped by a crease, say a single perspective fix will not do it, and describe a mesh only if the text stays the same. 2) White balance and a gentle contrast so paper is paper, not pure RGB 255 if that clips a light pencil. 3) Shadow down the gutter: dodge only if it does not change strokes. 4) OCR tips: resolution, grayscale, and the warning that OCR output needs a human check. Do not present OCR text as the official copy. 5) File: PDF or PNG, named, and the original photo kept. Do not alter numbers, signatures, or dates. If the task is to change what the document says, refuse.
